APC'll Collapse Soon, Sule Lamido

A FORMER GOVERNOR OF JIGAWA STATE has said the All Progressives Congress, APC will collapse with the ambition of Asiwaju Nola Ahmed Tinubu, former governor of Lagos State.

Alhaji Sule Lamido said Tinubu's ambition a supposed Jagaban of APC, would destroy APC because many of the party members do not like him, saying it's believed that if he becomes President he would bury the history made by President Buhari.

The former governor however, said All Progressives Congress, APC has failed to deliver on the promises made to Nigerians during their campaigns in 2015 or 2019, adding that for this reason, PDP will bounce back to power by winning the 2023 general election.

He said the APC party was formed on lies and blackmail which became a personality trait for the party, making Nigerians to think PDP brought Boko Haram and was responsible for the economic downturn of the country and anything evil was in PDP.

Alhaji Sule Lamido, former governor of Jigawa State said the People' s Democratic Party (PDP) was " flushed out" of power by Nigerians  particularly northerners over the erroneous belief that the party was part and parcel of boko haram insurgency which has been of major concern in the country.

The PDP party chieftain said APC had capitalized on the insurgency situation to tell lies to Nigerians in 2014. Lamido said the APC party in recent time have proven to be a failure.

The forthcoming 2023 general elections has remained a major bone for contention in Nigeria as PDP remains a major contender and wants to return to power while the APC party wants to retain the leadership of the country.

Lamido asked that if PDP was indeed bad, why things have not gotten worse than it was in 2014. He said Nigeria needs to look for a way forward in making things better again.

According to the former governor, he said the way forward is that Nigerians should enshew division in the country and rebuild Nigeria irrespective of the party in government.

He demanded that Nigerians needs to come together and discuss the raging insecurity problem and the unity invading the nation, adding that when Nigeria comes first aspiration can follow.

Sule Lamido said for better governance leaders need to have the interest of the people at heart,  noting that Nigerians believe so much in leadership, it's the reason why Nigerians believed President Muhammadu Buhari during his campaign to be president.

He further said the PDP party needs to be stabilized, United, and restored its old culture, tradition, and dignity instead of misbehaving as the party is currently doing.

He said the PDP party can win the next general election if the party behaves well but if not PDP will be worse than APC, adding that either way, PDP will win the next general election.
