Boko Haram: Abubakar Shekau feared dead? ...as Chadian President leads attack

Sina ODUNTAN
President Idris Deby of Republic of Chad leading the Chadian army launched a fierce military operation against the Boko Haram terrorists over the weekend.
Unconfirmed reports indicated that Abubakar Shekau (pictured below) feared dead in the operation.
Chad, a West African and Nigeria neighbouring country has been fighting the Boko Haram scourge since 2012.
It should be recalled that Boko Haram ambushed Nigerian soldiers last week and killed over 70. The terrorists also ambushed Chadian soldiers and killed 92.
Angered by the impunity of the members of Boko Haram
the Chadian President led the war against the insurgents and in 2 days, hundreds of Boko Haram members had been killed and many were captured as their armoured vehicles were destroyed.
Detail later.
