Husband of the Lady Killed with 4 Kids by Gunmen in Anambra Gives Names of Wife, Children ...As a presidential aspirant asks all Northerners living in Anambra to return to home States

JUBRIL AHMAD, the husband of the Hausa lady, who was killed by gunmen suspected to be members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has given the name of his wife as Harira Jubril, 32 and not Fatima.

He further gave the names of his four daughters also killed coldbloodedly as Fatima 9, Khadija 7, Hadiza 5, and Zaituna 2.

Jubril told BBC Hausa that Harira, who was also pregnant, was shot dead by the gunmen in Anambra State in the early hours of Monday, May 23, 2022. The pregnant lady was murdered alongside her four children.

According to BBC Hausa, another six residents of Northern Nigerian origin were murdered by gunmen in Anambra State during the weekend. 

Speaking with BBC Hausa, the husband of the pregnant lady was returning from a visit to a family member when she was gunned down by the criminals. 

The incident happened a few days after the gunmen abducted and killed a lawmaker in Anambra State. 

Many Nigerians have condemned the activities of the rampaging gunmen in Anambra State. They urged the government to get rid of them as soon as possible. 

Following the gruesome murder of Harira and her four daughters and seemingly silence in condemning the dastardly act, Adamu Garba, a Nigerian tech enthusiast and presidential aspirant, has reacted to the unending deaths in Anambra State.

The presidential aspirant called on Northerners in Anambra State and other people endangered in the state to immediately return to their home states since the government according to him, won’t protect or even care about them.

He tweeted: “In the whole world, there’s never a terrorist organisation that is as cowardly as IPOB. More so, there are no ones given unto self-destruction than their silent supporters.

“The gruesomely murdered Fatima (Harira) & her kids are from my state, Adamawa. I mean are we really in same country?

“The faster we realize that Nigeria need complete political decentralization and everyone should take care of their regions, the better for us.

“Why can’t people like Fatima and other people endangered in Anambra come back home since the govt won’t protect or even care about them?

“We should stop pretending or trying to be politically correct. This country is not designed for equality and fairness to all citizens.

‘The concept of everyone can live everywhere is constantly attack (sic) by terrorist like IPOB & their silent supporters. While our people keep dying.”

Agitating further for decentralization, Garba said: “Until & unless a strong government is put in place, which will guarantee protection of lives & properties of Nigeria(ns) anywhere they are, citizens have right to vacate where they are endangered.

“Hence the need for the likes of late Fatima to come back home where they are valued.”

The presidential aspirant in another post, launched a Twitter poll to call from the vacation of northerners living in the North.

He tweeted: “Let all the people of Northern Nigeria vacate Anambra state with immediate effect.

Retweet if you agree.”

Reports have it that unknown gunmen attacked various communities in the state’s Orumba North and Idemili North Local Government Areas on Sunday.

Harira and four of her children were slain at Isulo village in Orumba North Local Government Area, while another man was killed at Nanka in the same council.

It was also discovered that the gunmen attacked Abatete in Idemili North LGA, killing two people.
