Abuja: By Our REPORTER

THE RELEASE OF NAMES OF ITS PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS who purchased its nomination N100million forms and expression of interest put pay on the guess that the postponement of its presidential primary was to pave way for former President Goodluck Jonathan to participate in the primary already scheduled for June 6 and 7.
Jonathan's name is not conspicuously unstated on the list of presidential hopefuls expected to be screened by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It should be recalled that in April 2022, after supporters besieged his Abuja residence to ask him to contest the 2023 presidential election, Jonathan failed to give a definite response.
“You are calling me to come and declare for the next election. I cannot tell you I’m declaring. The political process is ongoing. Just watch out,” he had said.
Days after, a northern coalition bought the APC presidential expression of interest and nomination forms for him, but the former president had denied approving the purchase.
However, his recent political moves gave rooms for speculations as to what he was up to.
