THE COMPTROLLER-GENERAL of the
Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammed Babandede, has ordered the
suspension of punitive redeployment of five female officers involved in Falz's
Bop Daddy Challenge.
The NIS said this on its official Tweeter address @niimmigration Friday, May 15, the redeployment be put on hold
pending the conclusion of investigation.
Recall that
the female personnel were issued query by the service for participating in Bop
Daddy Challenge with their uniforms.
In a series
of tweet on the official page of NIS, the matter involving the personnel is
still being investigate, hence the suspension of the redeployment.
It has been
earlier reported that the five officers were given stringent redeployment to
states in the country that are battling with insurgencies and the coronavirus.
The
ladies were posted to places like Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Yobe, Borno, Rivers and Akwa Ibom.
