THE FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES has postponed the resumption of plenary by two weeks. The new date has been fixed for June 7, 2022 to allow members to face their primaries.
This was made known on Monday in a statemet signef by Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, Clerk, House of Representatives, who stated that the postponement of plenary was due to the ongoing party primaries.
"I am directed to inform all Hon Members, Staff, Media and the General Public that due to the on-going Party Primaries the House will now resume plenary on Tuesday, 7th June, 2022 at 11:00 am.
The last time the House held plenary session was on May 11, 2022, and resumption was scheduled for May 24 before this new postponement.
