So-Safe Cors Arrests Church Rat in Ogun.

SO-SAFE CORPS in Stop and Search has apprehended one Oni Omotayo for stealing cable wires from a church on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Lotto area of Owode Egba, Ogun State.


The church rat was arrested by men of the So-Safe Corps Lotto Command Area during the routine patrol of the area, according to the statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations of the agency, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, the Area Command  headed by SC Adeyeri Adeboye's men caught Omotayo while he attempted to escape.  


The statement further reveals that the State Commander of the Corps, Commander Dr Soji Ganzallo ordered thorough interrogation during which he confessed to having stolen the cables around the spot he was nabbed.


Ganzallo also said It took the team hours to get to the actual place where the cables were stolen as he took them to so many wrong locations before he opened up and mentioned that the crime was perpetrated in Deeper Life Church State Headquarter, adding that the suspect, Oni Omotayo was taken to the church premises where he stole the several metres of cables


At the church, the Corps commander said the Chief Security Officer and others were surprised and asked him how he managed to escape being caught despite the formidable security network around the Church.


The suspect and the exhibit have since been transferred to the Nigeria Police, Redeem Police Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution.
