A BAPTIST CHURCH has been reported to carry out virginity tests on some unmarried congregants recently and issued out certificates to only those who have stayed chaste.
The Church named Nazareth Baptist Church located in Ebuhleni, South Africa carried out the virginity test on its unmarried female members because it's believed to encourage young ladies in society to abstain from premarital sexual activities.
The test is done every year at the Nazareth Baptist Church in South Africa. The leader of the church and the specialist who conducts the test append their signatures on all the certificates of the ladies that were worthy.
The ladies who are found to be real virgins are given a white mark on their foreheads to enable the society to accord them respect and recognition.
The certificates issued are, however, valid for just a year. It is only valid until the next test is conducted again. Staying away from sexual activities in recent years are very difficult for many young people.
