SPORTS ARS 3-3 SOU: Three Arsenal Players to Blame for Their Draw with Southampton

ARSENAL'S GRIP on the PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE was threatened as they were held to a 3-3 draw at home to Southampton on Friday. Some early errors gifted Southampton two goals inside the first 15 minutes, and although Arsenal fought back admirably and soon responded through Gabriel Martinelli’s volley, they were unable to make their dominance pay and were eventually caught out as Duje Caleta-Car headed home a third midway through the second half.
Here are the three Arsenal players to blame for their draw with Southampton

Fabio Vieira

He was a replacement for Xhaka’s illness and did next to nothing in order to take it. He was bereft of belief and on the odd occasions when chances came his way he showed a complete lack of conviction. Biggest shock of the night was to see him come out for the second half given the circumstances.

Rob Holding

Rob lacks confidence at the Arsenal backline. That has been apparent in the past five games when they have conceded nine goals in their past five Premier League matches in the absence of William Saliba. Lost his man from a corner for the third Southampton goal.

Aaron Ramsdale

He was a disaster in the opening minute as he passed the ball straight to Carlos Alcaraz, who took the chance to score. Did not look his usual self all night.
