ASIWAJU BOLA TINUBU, President-elect called his predecessor, the outgoing President, General Muhammadu Bihari from Frañce wishing the latter Eid Mubarak at this year end of Ramadan.
Buhari in return stated his willingness to receive Asiwaju Tinubu as president on May 29th.Tinubu will succeed Buhari on May 29, 2023, as Nigeria’s 16th president.
In a phone call to commemorate the conclusion of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Buhari and Tinubu exchanged Eid pleasantries, according to a statement released by the presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Friday.
He claimed that both presidents prayed for the peace and well-being of the country and thanked God Almighty for allowing this day to come about.
Shehu claimed that Buhari stated his willingness to receive Asiwaju Tinubu as president on May 29th.
Tinubu will succeed Buhari on May 29, 2023, as Nigeria’s 16th president. He won the election on February 25, beating the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to second and third respectfully, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to the fourth position.
