NASARAWA STATE GOVERNOR, ENGR. ABDULLAHI SULE (pictured above with Gov. Dapo Abiodun) in a recent visit to Ogun State, commended the impressive infrastructural drive of the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration.
Governor Sule expressed admiration for Ogun's ability to tap into its proximity to Lagos State and highlighted the opportunity for his own state to learn from Ogun's successes.
During his visit to the Governor's Office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Governor Sule praised the dualization of the Sagamu to Abeokuta road. He also took the opportunity to congratulate Governor Abiodun on his recent victory at the Supreme Court.
"I am also here to appreciate him (Abiodun) for all the good works that he is doing and to learn from what he is doing in Ogun because Ogun to Lagos is the way Nasarawa is to Abuja. We have so much to learn from Ogun State," Governor Sule remarked.
The Nasarawa State Governor went on to highlight the importance of investing in projects at the grassroots level, particularly in sectors such as agriculture and healthcare. He commended Ogun State on its revenue drive and emphasized the positive impact it has on the state's development.
"So many things are going on in the state. I have seen so many projects at the grassroots that he is doing. Most of these projects are better when you build them at the grassroot where the people will be able to benefit in the areas of agriculture, in the areas of health, agriculture," Governor Sule noted.
Furthermore, the visiting governor paid a visit to the home of the late former Minister of Finance, Dr. Onaolapo Soleye, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 90.
