IN A BID TO ENHANCE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES in the riverine community of Epe in Lagos State, Federal Lawmaker, Rep. Wale Raji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has embarked on a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the first public secondary school in Ward C1, Epe.
The new secondary school will comprise two blocks of six classrooms each, totaling twelve classrooms, representing a significant investment in education infrastructure for the area.
The school, named Community High School, Oko-Abe, is expected to cater to students from Oko-Abe, Oriba, Ito-Omu, and neighboring communities in the riverine area, providing them with a conducive learning environment equipped with modern facilities.
Rep. Wale Raji expressed his commitment to improving education and empowering the youth in the constituency during the groundbreaking ceremony.
He thanked the community for their support and emphasized the vital role education plays in shaping a brighter future. The lawmaker assured constituents that every child in Ward C1 and across Epe Federal Constituency will have access to quality education.
Construction of the school is set to be completed soon, after which it will be handed over to the State Ministry of Education.
The event was attended by royal fathers, community leaders, political leaders, officials from the Lagos State Ministry of Education, stakeholders, and residents, who expressed excitement and appreciation for the significant development.
