ABIODUN THE NIGERIA LABOUR CONGRESS (NLC) and the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) have praised Governor Dapo Abiodun for his dedication to the welfare of workers in the state.
The commendation came as the governor presented two brand new 18-seater buses to the two unions at the Governor's Office in Abeokuta.
Chairman of the NLC, Comrade Hammed Ademola, also known as Benco, expressed gratitude to Governor Abiodun for being a man of his word and for his commitment to the well-being of workers.
Ademola described the governor as worker-friendly and sensitive to the plight of the workforce in the state.
Governor Abiodun, represented by his Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, emphasised his administration's priority on the welfare of workers. He reiterated his promise to provide the unions with new buses and called on civil servants in the state to continue supporting the government.
The workers pledged their loyalty to the Abiodun-led administration and expressed their appreciation for the governor's support.
The presentation of the buses was a tangible demonstration of the governor's commitment to improving the working conditions of employees in the state.
