THE OGUN STATE COMMUNITY, SOCIAL ORIENTATION, AND SAFETY CORPS, also known as So-Safe Corps, have arrested a robbery suspect involved in the theft of sliding windows at Iyana Ifako, Alagbon.

According to a press release from the State Commander, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo, and the Director of Information and Public Relations, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, the Owode-Yewa Divisional Command operation team led by SC Fatimoh Idris arrested 37-year-old Ashade Kamoru on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024, around 5 O' clock in the morning.

Kamoru, (pictured above) a resident of Wawe House, Elekure Street, Alagbon, Owode in Yewa South Local Government Area, was caught red-handed burgling a deserted building on Ifako Road. During the arrest, six sliding aluminum windows were recovered, with Kamoru confessing to the crime during preliminary investigations.

Further search led the So-Safe Corps officers to a location where Kamoru had hidden the remaining three sliding windows, intending to come back for more later on.

The suspect and the stolen items have now been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Owode Egbado (Yewa) Police Headquarters for further investigation and potential prosecution.
