VICE PRESIDENT KASHIM SHETTIMA (pictured above) is scheduled to declare open the Expanded National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Business Clinics on Tuesday. The event, taking place at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta, will aim to address the challenges faced by MSMEs and provide them with resources to grow and thrive.
This was made public in a press statement signed by Adebola Emmanuel Sofela, Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, and made available to thedispatch Friday by Femi Osipitan, the Information Officer, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
The Business Clinic is a joint initiative between the Federal Government and State governments, with the goal of helping MSMEs access capital, formalize their businesses, and showcase their products. Regulatory bodies such as NAFDAC, SON, CAC, NEPC, and others will be present to assist small business owners. Grant presentations will also be made to qualified MSMEs during the event.
Additionally, Vice President Shettima will inaugurate the Fashion Hub project at the Old OGTV auditorium, providing stakeholders in the fashion industry with state-of-the-art tailoring equipment. The Adire shared facility at Asero, Abeokuta will also be inaugurated as part of the visit.
